We must fight from a place of higher conciousness. What is our long term goal as a community? We've fought before, only to become complacent once we gained a few comforts, a few civil rights.
For an individual to change the way they behave, they must change the way they think. If we are going to induce lasting differences in the community, we must turn our individual mindsets away from fear and towards loving compassion and kindness.
We cannot expect unaware individuals to understand a need for their actions to change.
For the community to be okay, the individuals must be okay, and to help the individuals well-being, we must be an example of higher consciousness.
